Swiss ChaletHenry Ford featured himself a watch and clock repairman in his early days. He was always interested in time pieces due to their intricate mechanical nature. Without instruction he is said to be self taught. Taking apart a pocket watch, and putting it back together is no easy task. Not to mention any repairs which might have been needed on the individual parts. So how does a Swiss Chalet figure into his Greenfield Village plan? Well, the house was not only a residence, it also contained a watch and clock repair shop. |
